The author provides many helpful tips on speaking and listening well, differentiating and explaining the different kinds of speaking and listening and what should be involved. He reminds the reader, throughout, that speaking/listening are by nature active activities verses reading/writing, which are passive. Not the most exciting read, but certainly a valuable resource to being a more clear and thoughtful communicator.

Brad Dunson I'll test your abilities gained from this book on our next hangout. Look forward to you holding your tongue more and reflecting on my insight (silently).
