CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT altering the terms of the courts of common pleas
and general sessions of the county of Chenango.
Passed January 9, 1837.
The People of the State of New-York, represented in Se-
nate and Assembly, do enact as follows:
§ 1. The terms of the court of common pleas and gene- Terms
ral sessions of the peace of the county of Chenango, shall
hereafter be held on the second Mondays of February, June
and October, in each year, instead of the terms heretofore
by law directed to be held.
$2. All writs, process, notices and recognizances, or Writs, de.
other proceedings in said courts of common pleas and gene-
ral sessions, returnable or to be heard on the second Tues-
day of February next, shall be considered as returnable and
noticed for hearing or argument on the second Monday of
Februay next.
$ 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
