The calling of Andrew, Peter, etc. the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining h on him, the same is he which baptizeth i with the Holy Ghost.

34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say being interpreted, Master,) where 4dwellest thou?

39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day for it was about the 5 tenth hour.

40 One of the two which heard

John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

1 Christ turneth water into wine: 12 he departeth into Capernaum, etc.

AND the third day there was a marriage in Cana a of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.b

3 And when c they wanted wine. the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoeverd he saith unto you, do it.

6 And there were set there six water-pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the water-pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Drawe out now, and bear unto the governorf of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast ha! tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants g which drew the water knew:) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth goo wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse but thou hast kept the good wine A until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manfested i forth his glory; and his disciples believed k on him.

12 T After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother. and his brethren, and hus disciples and they continued there not many days.

13 And the Jews' passover & was at hand, and Jesusm went up to Jerusalem.

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting

15 And when he had made a Scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured

Christ purgeth the temple. out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, o The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign p showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy 9 this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

21 But he spake of the temple r of his body.

22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he s had said this unto them: and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feastday, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because het knew all men.

25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what

was in man.

14 ¶ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever m believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 T For God n so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,

17 For God o sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18

Hep that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light q is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neitherr cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be 2 reproved.

21 But he that doeths truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
