A hole is passed through each leaf, which serves by means of string to connect the whole into a volume, the wooden coverings are japanned, highly ornamented with gold, £3. 3s

Manuscripts of this description are of exceeding rarity; the Royal library at Paris contains very few, and those few are imperfect; the Bibliotheca Sussexiana mentions three Pali MSS., containing fewer leaves.
