Believes that Germany can recover from its historical sins, and that West Germany is on the way to returning to the community of democratic nations. With these goals in mind, the Germans have to recognize and condemn their country's guilt and, in particular, to extirpate the weeds of Nazi slander against the Jews and Judaism. A program of popular enlightenment, which leads to true understanding of Judaism, is necessary.
