ACT 3174.

An act providing for authority to use the tide waters of the entrance to False Bay" in San Diego County, and certain lands adjacent thereto, to propel machinery; and to permit the erection and maintenance of structures for the installation, maintenance and operation of such machinery; and fixing the charge therefor. [Approved March 20, 1905. Stats. 1905, p. 294.]

There are a number of acts relating to cities and counties of the first class, as follows:

An act making an appropriation to pay the clai board of education of the city and county Francisco against the state of California.

[Approved June 14, 1906.]

The people of the state of California, represented and assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. The sum of twenty-five thousand hereby appropriated out of any money in the sta ury not otherwise appropriated to pay the clai board of education of the city and county of S cisco against the state of California.

Sec. 2. The controller is hereby directed to warrant in favor of said board of education of and county of San Francisco for the sum of t thousand dollars, and the state treasurer is hereby to pay the same.

Sec. 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
