The Lord is loving unto every man and his mercy is over all his works.

All thy works praise thee, O Lord: and thy saints give thanks unto thee.

SAVE

TALLIS.

AVE, Lord, and hear us, O King of heaven : when we call upon thee. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord and thy blessing is upon thy people.

O save thy people, and give thy blessing unto thine inheritance: feed them, and set them up for ever.

So will we sing and praise thy power.

CALL and cry to thee, O Lord,

Bow down thine eyes, and mark my heavy plight,

And how my soul doth faint :

For I have many ways offended thee.
Forget my wickedness, O Lord, I beseech thee.

O

A PRAYER.

2 CHRON. VI. 19—21.

AVE respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee:

That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.

Hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.

PSALM LIX. I—4, 17.

ELIVER me, O God, from mine enemies, and save me from them that rise up against me.

Deliver me from wicked doers, and from blood-thirsty men.

For lo! they lie waiting for my soul: the mighty men are gathered against me.

Arise thou then to help me, and behold. My strength will I ascribe to thee; unto thee will I sing: for thou, O God, art my refuge, and my merciful God.
