In accordance with the provisions of Section IX, Rule III of the Board of Education, the undersigned, your Commissioner of School Building submits herewith his annual report of the business of his office, covering the period of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1922.

At the close of the fiscal year 1921-22, the Board had in use 126 portable buildings, located as follows:

TOTAL NUMBER OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS.

The Board had in use at the close of the fiscal year June 30, 1922, 127 schools, conducted in 266 buildings, consisting of 118 main buildings, 12 branch buildings, and 126 portable buildings, also 10 rented buildings for special schools, etc., (Special Schools Nos. 1, 3 and 7 being located in buildings owned by the Board and Special School No. 13 in the Shaw School).
