"I have trusted in Thy mercy, my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation."

Ps. xiii. 5.

THERE is a blessed Home
Beyond this land of woe,

Where trials never come,

Nor tears of sorrow flow;
Where faith is lost in sight,
And patient hope is crown'd,
And everlasting light

Its glory throws around.
Look up, ye saints of God,
Nor fear to tread below,
The path your Saviour trod,
Of daily toil and woe;
Wait but a little while

In uncomplaining love,

His own most gracious smile

Shall welcome you above.

"In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."—Prov. iii. 6.

WHATE'ER my God ordains, is right;

His will is ever just;

Howe'er He orders now my cause,
I will be still and trust.
He is my God;

Though dark my road,

He holds me that I shall not fall;

Wherefore to Him I leave it all.

S. Rodigast, Trans. by C. Winkworth.

"I know that my Redeemer liveth."

I

Job. xix. 25.

KNOW that my Redeemer lives,
And ever prays for me,

Salvation to His saints He gives,
And life and liberty.

The power of hell, and strength of sin,
My Saviour shall subdue;

His healing blood shall wash me clean,
And make my spirit new.

He will perform the work begun;
Jesus, the sinner's Friend-

Jesus, the lover of His own-
Will love me to the end.

"Incline your ear and come unto Me, hear and

your soul shall live."

WITH tearful

eyes

Isa. lv. 3.

I look around;

Life seems a dark and stormy sea;
Yet midst the gloom I hear a sound,
A heavenly whisper, "Come to Me!"
It tells me of a place of rest;

It tells me where my soul may flee;
Oh! to the weary, faint, opprest,

How sweet the bidding, "Come to Me!"

Oh voice of mercy, voice of love,
In conflict, grief, and agony,
Support me, cheer me from above,
And gently whisper, Come to Me!"
