PUBLIC ACTS.

[No. 1.]

AN ACT to amend act number two hundred six of the Public Acts of eighteen hundred ninety-three, being "An act to provide for the assessment of property and the levy and collection of taxes thereon, and for the collection of taxes heretofore and hereafter levied; making such taxes a lien on the lands taxed, establishing and continuing such lien, providing for the sale and conveyance of lands delinquent for taxes, and for the inspection and disposition of lands bid off to the State and not redeemed or purchased; and to repeal act number two hundred of the Public Acts of eighteen hundred ninety-one, and all other acts and parts of acts in anywise contravening any of the provisions of this act," by adding thereto a new section to stand as section forty-three a.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. AN ACT to amend section thirteen of act number one hundred one of the Public Acts of nineteen hundred nine, entitled "An act to revise the law relative to the care of the feeble-minded and epileptic," being compilers' section one thousand five hundred forty-five of the Compiled Laws of nineteen hundred fifteen.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. Section thirteen of act number one hundred one of the Public Acts of nineteen hundred nine, entitled "An act to revise the law relative to the care of the feeble-minded and epileptic," being compilers' section one thousand five hundred forty-five of the Compiled Laws of nineteen hundred fifteen, is hereby amended to read as follows:

SEC. 13. Feeble-minded and epileptic persons, residents of the State of Michigan, shall be eligible for admission to the Michigan Home and Training School in the manner and upon the conditions hereinafter provided.

This act is ordered to take immediate effect.

AN ACT to amend section five of act number twelve of the Public Acts of nineteen hundred three, entitled "An act to provide for letting contracts for furnishing fuel, paper and stationery for the use of the State, and also for doing the State printing and State binding, and to provide for heating the Capitol by steam conveyed from central heating plant, and to repeal act one hundred sixty-three of the laws of the year eighteen hundred fifty-one, as amended, being sections fifteen hundred thirty-one, fifteen hundred thirty-two, fifteen hundred thirty-three, fifteen hundred thirty-four, fifteen hundred thirty-five, fifteen hundred thir ty-six and fifteen hundred thirty-seven of the Compiled Laws of the year eighteen hundred ninety-seven."

SEC. 5.
