And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them ; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

Καὶ ἔφαγον πάντες, καὶ ἐχορτάσθησαν. And they did all eat, and were filled.

VER. 43.

ται πρὸς αὐτοὺς, περιπατῶν ἐπὶ τῆς θα λάσσης· καὶ ἤθελε παρελθεῖν αὐτούς.

And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: sand about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault. * Or, common.

Καὶ ὅπου ἂν εἰσεπορεύετο εἰς κώμας, ἡ πόλεις, ἢ ἀγροὺς, ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς ἐτίθουν τοὺς ἀσθενοῦντας, καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτόν, ἵνα κἂν τοῦ κρασπέδου τοῦ ἱματίου αὐτοῦ ἅψωνται· καὶ ὅσοι ἂν ἥπτοντο αὐτοῦ, ἐσώζοντο.

And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

A. D. 32. καὶ τὴν μητέρα σου· καί· Ο κακολογών πατέρα, ἢ μητέρα, θανάτῳ τελευτάτω

For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whose curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

VER. 11.

Ὑμεῖς δὲ λέγετε· Ἐὰν εἴπῃ ἄνθρωπος τῷ πατρὶ ἡ τῇ μητρὶ· Κορβάν (ὃ ἐστι, δώρον) ὃ ἐὰν ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς.

But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.

Making the word of God of none have delivered: and many such like effect through your tradition, which ye things do ye.

VER. 14.

Καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος πάντα τὸν ὄχλον, Μάτην δὲ σέβονταί με διδάσκοντες διδασ- . ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· ̓Ακούετέ μου πάντες, καὶ καλίας ἐντάλματα ἀνθρώπων.

Οὐδέν ἐστιν ἔξωθεν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰσπου ρευόμενον εἰς αὐτὸν, ὃ δύναται αὐτὸν κοινῶ σαι· ἀλλὰ τὰ ἐκπορευόμενα ἀπ' αὐτοῦ, ἐκεῖνά ἐστι τὰ κοινοῦντα τὸν ἄνθρωπον.

There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

VER. 16.

Εἴ τις ἔχει ὦτα ἀκούειν, ἀκουέτω. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

VER. 17.

Καὶ ὅτε εἰσῆλθεν εἰς οἶκον ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄχλου, ἐπηρώτων αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ περὶ τῆς

Καὶ ἐκεῖθεν ἀναστὰς ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὰ μετὰ θόρια Τύρου καὶ Σιδῶνος· καὶ εἰσελθὼν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν, οὐδένα ἤθελε γνῶναι· καὶ οὐκ ηδυνήθη λαθεῖν.

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

VER. 28.

Η δέ ἀπεκρίθη, καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Ναί, Κύριε· καὶ γὰρ τὰ κυνάρια ὑποκάτω τῆς τραπέζης ἐσθίει ἀπὸ τῶν ψιχίων τῶν παι δίων.

And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

VER. 29.

Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ· Διὰ τοῦτον τὸν λόγον ὕπαγε· ἐξελήλυθε τὸ δαιμόνιον ἐκ τῆς θυγατρός σου.

And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

VER. 30.

Καὶ ἀπελθοῦσα εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτῆς εὗρε τὸ δαιμόνιον ἐξεληλυθὸς, καὶ τὴν θυγατέρα βεβλημένην ἐπὶ τῆς κλίνης.

And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her And from thence le arose, and went daughter laid upon the bed.

VER. 34.

Καὶ ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν, ἐστέναξε, καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Εφφαθὰ· ὅ ἐστι, δια νοίχθητι.

Καὶ εὐθέως διηνοίχθησαν αὐτοῦ αἱ ἀκοαί, καὶ ἐλύθη ὁ δεσμὸς τῆς γλώσσης αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐλάλει ὀρθὼς.

And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
