Note. The dates of this Table have been carefully revised, and reference made to various authorities: but where these differ, the chronology of Archbishop Usher has been in almost all cases followed; this is in conformity with the chronology usually adopted by Biblical critics in England, and the same as in the Tables (with very slight exceptions) affixed to Arrowsmith's Biblical Atlas.
