Made of best WROUGHT IRON-all bolts one inch in diameter, secured by hotpressed nuts. The superiority of these Joints in efficiency, durability and economy has been established by long and extensive use on both RON and STEEL Rails.

The rail is not weakened by holes through the stem, as in other forms of fish-joints, and bearing on the whole base, and enclosing both flanges, no other joint has so large wearing surface.
