INTRODUCTION.

In humbly attempting to invite the attention of the Christian reader to the character and career of Moses, the Author disclaims all pretension to any peculiar qualification for the work. He has only endeavoured to lead the thoughts of those unlearned persons who (like himself) desire and want "helps to reflection " to this most interesting subject.

A short plain practical English book on the most striking human character in the Bible, is all which he has endeavoured to produce. No reader can be more
