Lansing, Wednesday, January 6, 1875. In conformity with the requirements of the Constitution of the State of Micbigan, the Senate thereof, on this day, at 11:20 o'clock A. M., convened in the Senate Chamber at Lansing, in said State, and was called to order by Hon. Henry H. Holt, Lieutenant Governor, and President of the Senate.

The roll of Senators was called by James H. Stone, Secretary of the last Senate, when the following named Senators elect presented themselves, took and sabscribed the oath prescribed by the Constitution, and entered upon the discharge of their duties as Senators: From the 1st District-William Adair. 2d
