RESOLUTIONS.

Treasurer in favor of the Hon. John W. Houston, Associate Judge of the Superior Court, resident in Kent county, for the sum of one thousand dollars, being the aggregate of the sums appropriated by Chapter 27 of the Revised Code and by this resolution.

Adopted at Dover, March 22, 1867. .

CHAPTER 275.

Joint Resolution directing Frederick Croydon to make certain repairs to

the roof and cupola of the State House.

Capola of State House to be repaired.

Resolved, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, That Frederick Croydon be and he is hereby directed to make the needful repairs to the roof and cupola of the State House to prevent the same from passing water through to the ceilings of the halls below, and that he return his vouchers of the necessary expenses to the Legislative Committee appointed to examine the State Treasurer's and Auditor's accounts, who are hereby authorized to audit and direct the payment of the same.

CHAPTER 276.

Joint Resolution authorizing the State Treasurer to Borrow Money.

Resolved, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State Trea- State of Delaware in General Assembly met, That the State Trea

surer be and he is hereby authorized to borrow any sum or sums not exceeding, in the whole amount, twenty thousand

dollars, to be applied and used towards the payment of the current expenses of the State until the next session of the Legisture, and that the faith of the State be and the same is hereby pledged for the payment of the said sum or sums of money, not exceeding in the whole the amount aforesaid, with interest at six per centum, and that the Treasurer shall receive, for his services, one-eighth of one per centum out of the money so obtained. Resolved, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, That the State Trea- State Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized to pay to J. Frank Hazel the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars ($350.00) upon the pay for production to him of a properly printed and indexed copy of nal of 1865 the Journal of the House of Representatives of this State for the when com sessions of 1865 and 1866, with a certiffcate from the publisher pleted. thereof that 300 copies of the same have been printed and published in the manner and style prescribed by Section 4 of Chapter 4 of the Revised Code.
