Treasurer to Sec. 3. The state treasurer is hereby authorized and required tain moneys to receive from the Bank of Michigan so much of the moneys borrowed by the auditor general of the Bank of Michigan on account of the sale of the state drafts, as may be necessary to pay the several sums hereby appropriated, and the appropriations made by an act making special appropriations, and for other purposes, approved April 10, 1839, not exceeding the sum of eighty thousand dollars.

Sec. 4. That so much of the second section of the act approved April 6, 1838 April sixth, eighteen hundred and thirty-eight, as appropriates to the secretary of state five hundred dollars for transcribing and recording all laws passed by the legislature of the territorial or state government as had not been transcribed and recorded, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as it relates to transcribing and recording of the territorial laws, and that one half of said sum be paid on the passage of this act.
