Stir 4 cup of ALBERS PEARLS OF WHEAT gradually into 1 quart boiling water salted to taste. Cook 10 minutes or longer. boiler best. Serve with cream and sugar; berries or fruit.

SPECIAL RECIPE CARNATION WHEAT PUDDING To 3 cups milk at boiling point, salted to taste, add 2 cups Carnation Wheat Flakes and 1 cup raisins. Boil 15 minutes in a double boiler, then stir in one cup sugar, 2 eggs well beaten, 2 teaspoonfuls vanilla, (and if desired 5 marshmallows). Cook 5 minutes longer, then put into baking dish and bake 20 minutes in moderate oven. Serve with whipped cream, crushed fruit, or as preferred.

This makes the famous pudding served by Albers Carnation Girls

ALBERS CORN MEAL MUSH WITH CHEESE

1 lb. ALBERS YELLOW CORN

MEAL

1 teaspoonful salt (scant)

1/4 lb. American cheese (1 cupful grated)

2 quarts water

Put the water in the top of a double boiler. When boiling add the corn meal slowly; boil until thick. Set the top of the boiler into the bottom and boil for one hour. Remove from the fire. Add the salt and grated cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted. Pour into brick pans which have been greased, smooth top and brush with oil or drippings to keep from forming a crust. When cold cut in slices, roll in beaten egg, then in chopped parsley, then in egg and crumbs. Brown lightly in a little cooking oil, garnish with parsley and serve.
