Now to explain this diftinctly, I must remind you, that there are Two Sorts of Pleafures; Corporeal and Spiritual. Corporeal Pleafures are thofe, which the Soul perceives by the Mediation of the Body, and Bodily Senfes. As Seeing, Hearing, Smelling, Fafting, Touching. Spiritual Pleafures are thofe, which the Soul perceives by the immediate Exercife of its Rational Faculties, the Understanding and the Will. To relih Bodily Pleafures there is not only required certain Parts and Organs, (for you cannot See without your Eyes, nor |
