[This Act authorizes "Warren Ferris, his executors, administrators and assigns, from and after the passing of this act, to take toll from every person crossing the bridge over Hudson's river at Glen's Falls."]

[By this Act, the act incorporating "the Oswego Union Bridge Company," passed March 28, 1817, (40th Sess. chap. 114,) is so amended as to allow "Nehemiah B. Northrop, and his heirs and assigns, to enjoy all the privileges granted to said Company, and to complete said Bridge at his and their own cost, expense and management."] "Authorising Elijah Leech, Pascal P. Pratt and Benjamin W. Pratt, to build a Toll Bridge across Buffalo Creek," passed March 15, 1822, 45th Sess. chap. 57, Laws of 1822, p. 64. [Grant for twenty years.]

19th, 1813, 2 R. L. p. 134. [It authorises the common councils of New-York and Hudson, to make regulations concerning fences in those cities.]

The second section of "an act to abolish entails, to confirm conveyances by tenants in tail, to regulate descents, and to direct the mode of conveyances to joint-tenants," passed 22d February, 1786, 1 R. L. p. 52. [By this section, grants, &c. by tenants in tail, to persons who have been in the uninterrupted possession of the lands grant-ing, ed to the day of the passing of the act, are declared as effectual as if such tenants in tail had been seized of the lands, &c. in fee simple.]

The seventh section of the same act. [This section repeals the statute of descents, &c. passed 12th July, 1782, and declares that all descents and conveyances, since the passing of the repealed act shall take effect according to it, but that every grant, conveyance or devise heretofore made, or hereafter to be made, to executors or trustees, shall be deemed to be in joint-tenancy,|| and not in tenancy in common.]

The twenty-third section of the same act, 2 R. L. p. 135. [It relates to the rights of oysterfishing, and clamming in Hempstead, and North Hempstead.]

An act for giving relief in cases of insolvency, passed April 12th, 1813, 1 R. L. 460. [This act is in force, although consolidated in article 3, of title 1, chap. 5, of the 2d part R. S.]

The twenty-fourth section of "an act concerning the court of chancery," passed April 10th, 1813, 1 R. L. p. 494. [This section confirms sales of mortgaged premises, made by Sheriff's under decrees in chancery, before 7th April, 1806.]
