5 For this ye know, that nof whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous mạn, whog is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive h you with vain words for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of 1 disobedience.

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, s not as fools, but as wise. 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. t

17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will u of the Lord is.

18 And be not drunk v with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armoure of

God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against 3 flesh and blood, but against principalities, f against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against 4 spiritual wickedness in 5 high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

15 And your feeth shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, i wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmetk of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always m with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching n thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, o that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

20 For which I am an ambassador in 7 bonds: that 8 therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. 21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, q a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

22 Whom Ir have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

23 Peace s be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

CHAPTER III.

FIN

INALLY, my brethren, rejoice a in the Lord. To write the same b things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

2 Beware of dogs, c beware of d evil workers, beware of the e concision.

3 For we are ƒ the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of
