Refolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty, of is. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any decree or dismission made by or in the Courts of Chancery or Exchequer.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of is. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any common bail to be filed in any court whatfoever, and any appearance that ihall be made upon such bail.

Refolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of is. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or Theet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or wriiten, during the time aforesaid, any affidavit, 'except such 'affidavits as shall be taken before the officers of his Majesty's customs or 'excise, or any justice or justices of the peace, or before a inagistrate of any corporation acting as a justice of the peace, or acting in any Court of Conscience or summary jurisdiation, or before any judge of assize or commission of Oyer and Terminer, relative to protecutions on trials or indi&ments, or to civil bills, or that thall be made for the purpose of raising or accounting for public inoney, and except affidavits made relative to the hempen and flaxen manufactures, or to the payment of corn premiums, or made before the trustees of any curnpike relative to the roads or tolls of such turnpike, or affidavits made before the Dublin Society. And that a duty of is. be paid for cvery skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheçt of paper, upon which any copy of such affidavit as is herein before charged, that shall be filed or read in any court whatsoever, shall be engrossed or 'written, during the time aforefaid.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of is. be paid for every skin or piece of veilum or parchment, or piece or Neet of paper, on which thall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any original writ (except such original upon which a writ of capias issues) subpoena, writ of capius quo minus, writ of dedimus poteftatem to take answers, examine witnesses or appoint guardians, or any other writ' whatsoever, or any other process or mandate that thall issue out of or pass the seals of any of the courts at the city of Dublin,' or any other court whatsoever holding plea where the debt or damages doch amount tò forty Billings or above, or the thing 'in demand is of that value., í : Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a 'duty of 1s. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any entry of any action in the mayor's and theriff's courts of the city of Dublin, and in courts in all corporations and other courts whatsoever, out of which no writs, procefs or mandate issue, holding plea where the debt or damage doch amount to forty Thillings or above.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of is. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any rule or order (except in caufes profecuted upon indictments, or which relate to presentments) made or given in any of the courts at the city of Dublin,' either courts of law; or equity, which shall be taken out.

Réfolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of is. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or lheet of paper, on which fall be engrossed or written during the time aforesaid, any copy of such rules or orders (except in causes prosecuted upon indictments, or which relate to presentments) entered, or the copies of any other records or proceedings in any of the faid courts of the city of Dublin, not hereby otherwise charged. - Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of is. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or, written, during the time aforesaid, any citation or monition. made in the prerogative court, or in any ecclesiastical courts, or any libel or allegation, diposition, answer, sentence or final decree, or any inventory exhibited in the prerogative court, or in any ecclesiastical court, or the Court of Admiralty, or whereupon any copies of them respectively shall be engrossed or written, except in luits for recovery of seamens wages.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty, of '1s. be paid for every ikin or piece of vellumn or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engroised or written, during the time aforesaid, any charter party, policy of affurance, passport, bond, release, contract, or other obliga tory instrument, or any protest, procuration, letter of attorner, or any other notarial act whatsoever.

.. ; Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of id. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum cr parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any depofitions taken in the Court of Chancery or Court of Exchequer, except the paper draughts of depositions taken by virtue of any conimiro fion before they are engrossed, which are not herein before charged.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committtee, that a duty of id. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which shall be engroffed or written, during the time aforesaid, any, copy of any bill, answer, plea, demurrer, replication, rejoinder, interrogatories, deposition or other proceedings whatsoever taken in the Court of Chancery or Court of Exchequer, or in any Court of Equity.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of 2d. be paid for every skin or piece of vellum or parchment, or piece or Meet of paper, on which shall be engrossed or written, during the time aforesaid, any copy of any will attested by the proper other of the prerogative Court, or any ecclefiaftical Court.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that à duty of 2d. be paid for every skin or piece of velluin or parch? ment, or piece or theet of paper, on which shall be engrofled or written, during the time aforelaid, any declaration, plea, replication, rejoinder, demurrer, or cther pleadings whatsoever in any court of law, or any copy thereof.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that a duty of 4d. be paid for every skin or piece of velluin or parchment, or piece or sheet of paper, on which thall be engroffed or written, during the time aforefaid, any cercificate or debend ture for drawing back any customs or duties for or in respect of the reshipping or exporting of any goods, or merchandizes which at any time or times, from and after the 25th day of December, 1783, to the 25th day of March, 1785, inclufive, thall be exported, or shipped to be exported from the kingdoni of Ireland for any parts beyond the seas, to be paid by the perfon for whose benefit or at whole instance (uch debenture or certificate shall be obtained.

Resolved, That it is the opinion' of this committee, that a duty of id. be paid, during the time aforesaid, for every almanack or calendar for any one particular year, or for any time less than a year, which shall be printed on one side only of any sheet or piece of paper only, and of 24. for every other almanack or calendar for any one particular year, and that for every almanack or calendar made to serve for several years, the respective rates aforesaid shall be paid for every such year.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that there be paid, during the time aforesaid, for all papers. containing public. news, intelligence or occurrences, a duty of one halfpenny for every sheet, or piece of paper less than a sheet, on which such news, intelligence or occurrences shall be printed, · Refolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that there be paid, during the time aforesaid, for every pamphlet or paper not exceeding fix theers in octavo, or in a leffer page, or not exceeding twelve sheets in quarto, or twenty sheets of folio, lo printed, a duty after the rate of 15. sterling for every sheet of any kind of paper which shall be contained in cne printed copy or impresion thereof.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that there be paid, during the time aforesaid, a duty of 61, for every advertisement to be contained in or published with any gazette, newspaper or journal; to be published weekly, or ofiner, or in any other printed paper or pamphlet whatsoever, being dispersed or made public yearly, monthly, or at any other interval of time.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that for and upon every piece of vellum, parchment or paper, on which shall be engrossed or written the admission of any Itudent or barrila ter into the fociety of king's inns, there fhall be paid a duty of gl.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that the following duties shall be paid for and upon all French wines imported into this kingdom from the 25th day of December, 1783, to the 25th day of March, 1785, inclusive : if filled and imported by natives 331. 75, if filled and imported by strangers 341. 105, 40. if unfilled and imported by natives 316. 15, if unfilled and imported by strangers 321. 25. by the tun for every tun thereof, and so in proporţion for any greater or less quantity; the said duties to be paid down in ready money net, without any discount or allowance, and to be in lieu and full fatisfaction of all custom, excise and other duties payable to his Majesty for the same by any act or acts of parliament heretofore made in this kingdom.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that the following duties shall be paid for and upon all wines of the growth

of Portugal and Madeira imported into this kingdom during the time aforesaid: if filled and imported by natives 221. 45. 81. if filled and imported by strangers 251. --s. 2j . if unfilled and imported by natives 201. 145. if unfilled and imported' by strangers 211, 8s. by the tun for every tun thereof, and fo» in proportion for any greater or less quantity; the faid duties to be paid down in ready money net, without any discount or allowance, and to be in lieu and full satisfaction of all custom, excise or other duties payable to his Majesty for the same by any. act or acts of parliament heretofore made in this kingdom.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that the following duties shall be paid for and upon all Rhenish wine imported into this kingdom during the time aforesaid: if filled and imported by natives 271. 19. 10464. if filled and imported by strangers 291. gs. 1ozóá. if unfilled and imported by natives 251. 135. 10.8 . if unfilled and imported by strangers 271.-s. 108 d. by the tun for every tan thereof, and fo in proportion for any greater or less quantity ; the said duties to be paid down in ready money net, without any discount or allowance, and to be in lieu and full fatisfaction of all custom, excise and other duties payable to his Majesty for the same by any act or acts of parliament heretofore made in this kingdom.

Resolved, That it is the opinion of this committee, that the following duties shall be paid for and upon all Spanish wine imported into this kingdom during the time aforesaid: if filled and imported by natives 281. if filled and imported by strangers 291. 135. 4d. if unfilled and imported by natives 251. 145. if unfilled and imported by strangers 271. 4s. by the tun for every tun thereof, and so in proporcion for any greater or less quantity; the faid duties to be paid down in ready money net, without any deduction or allowance, and to be in lieu and full fatiffaction of all custom, excise or other duties payable to his Majesty for the same by any act or acts of parliament heretofore made in this kingdom.
