THE

CRITIC for 1904

Among the features for next year may be mentioned

The Jessica Letters

These fascinating literary love letters, begun in October, have attracted much specultion as to their authorship. Although published anonymously, it is admitted that there are two authors, a man and a woman, and that their occupations in real life are the same as those of the hero and heroine in the story the former an editor in New York and the latter a writer in the South. So many of the incidents are true that it is harl to separate the fiction from the fact.
