6. O pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7. Peace be within thy walls and plenteousness within thy palaces.

8. For my brethren and companions' sake: I will wish thee prosperity.

PSALM XXIII. SOLO TENOR.

1. The Lord is my shepherd; therefore I shall lack nothing.

2. He shall feed me in a green pasture, and lead me forth beside the waters of comfort.

3. He shall convert my soul, and bring me forth in the paths of righteousness, for his name's sake.

4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me.

5. Thou shalt prepare a table before me against them that trouble me: thou hast anointed my head with oil, and my cup shall be full.

VERSE AND FULL.

6. But thy loving kindness and mercy shall

follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

2. Then shall he judge thy people according unto right and defend the poor.

5. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endureth from one generation to another.

7. In his time shall the righteous flourish: yea, and abundance of peace so long as the moon en

dureth.

8. His dominion shall be also from the one sea to the other and from the flood unto the world's end.

11. All kings shall fall down before him all nations shall do him service. Amen.

1. O be joyful in God, all ye lands: sing praises to the honour of his name, make his praise to be glorious.

2. Say unto God, O how wonderful art thou in thy works?

3. For all the world shall worship thee sing of thee, and praise thy name.

4. O behold the works of God: how wonderful he is in his doing towards the children of men.

6. He ruleth with his power for ever, his eyes behold the people and such as will not believe, shall not be able to exalt themselves.

1. By the waters of Babylon we sat down and wept when we remembered thee, O Sion.

2. As for our harps we hanged them up: upon the trees that are therein.

3. For they that led us away captive required of us a song, and melody in our heaviness sing us one of the songs of Sion.

4. How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?

5. If I forget thee, O Jerusalem: let my right hand forget her cunning.

6. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth: yea, if I prefer not Jerusalem in my mirth.

7. Remember the children of Edom, O Lord, in the day of Jerusalem: how they said, Down with it, down with it, even to the ground.

8. O daughter of Babylon, wasted with misery: yea, happy shall he be that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

1. Be thou my judge, O Lord, for I have walked innocently: my trust hath been also in the Lord, therefore I shall not fall.

2. Examine me, O Lord, and prove me try out my reins and my heart.

3. For thy loving kindness is ever before mine eyes and I will walk in thy truth.

6. I will wash my hands in innocency, O Lord: and so will I go to thine altar.

7. That I may shew the voice of thanksgiving: and tell of all thy wondrous works.

14. If we believe that Jesus died, and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17. Then we which are alive, and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
