1. O Lord, our Governor, O how excellent is thy name in all the world.
RECITATIVE, TENOR. 2. Out of the mouth of very babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength, because of thine enemies: that thou mightest still the fruitless rage of the enemy and the avenger.
SOLO TENOR. 3. I will consider thy heavens, even the work of thy almighty hands : the moon and the stars which thou hast ordained.
4. What is a mortal, O Jehovah, that thou art mindful of him: or the son of a mortal, that thou visitest him.

1. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous : for it becometh well the just to be thankful.
