ment at the Charter-house. The procession consisted of ten men on horseback, four on foot, carrying plumes of feathers before the bearse, drawn by six horses, six mourning coaches drawn by six horses each, and twenty noblemen and gentlemen's carriage amongst which we observed his Lordship's carriage, followed by the Bishop of Chester's, Earl Camden's, the Hon. Mr. Law's, the two Chief Justices', and the other Judges of the Court of King's Bench and Common Pleas, and other of his Lordship's friends. The procession passed along Pall-mall, the Strand, Fleet-street, Ludgate-bill, and arrived at the Charter-house soon after nine o'clock. The corpse was taken into the chapel, and the funeral ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Fisher. Nearly the whole of the time a most solemn dirge was played. The coffin was covered with superb crimson velvet, and bis Lordship interred in the same vault as Mr. Sutton, the founder of the Charter-house.

The property left by Lord Ellenborough, it is said, exceeds 240,000. To the present Lord he has bequeathed 10,000 per annum ; and to the widowed Lady 20001. per annum; and to each of the other children 15,0001. The house in St. Jame's-square is directed to be sold, and also the villa at Roehampton. The late Peer gave 18,000. for the town residence.

The whole of the carriages and horses of the late Queen are to be sold by public auctios. The horses have been brought to town from Windsor, and workmen are now the pannels of the carriages, previons to employed in obliterating the royal arms on sale. The Princess Sophia will reside at the Lower Lodge, in Windsor Park. The whole of the former establishments there have been discharged.

The late Queen left her suit of garbets to the Dowager Queen of Wirtemberg, beCause garnets are the only precious stones that can be worn with deep mourning, which the dowager Queen is resolved to wear for life. All her diamonds she left to be divided among the other four princesses equally. Her fine wardrobe, said to be of immense value, she has left to Madame Beckendorff. Frogmore is left to the Princess Augusta, and the Lower Lodge to the Princess Sophia.

inspected her late Majesty's will, are the The only individuals, it is said, who have Prince Regent, the Duke of York, the Duchess of Gloucester, the Princess Augusta, and Sir John Nicholl, the judge of the Prerogative Court. The reason assigned for the delay is, that they have not taken an account of the property. Is it possible

that the Duke of Sussex has not had the will of his royal parent submitted to his perusal ?
