Pursuant to the Constitution, at the hour of twelve o'clock M., the Assembly of the twenty-fourth session of the Legislature of California was called to order by the Chief Clerk of the Assembly. The roll of counties was called. The following members elect presented themselves, and were duly qualified by taking the following oath, which was administered by the Honorable S. C.
