Mr. McClure offered the following: Resolved, That a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker, to wait upon the Governo and inform him that the Assembly is now organized, and ready to receive any communication his Excellency has to make. SPEAKER: I move that the resident ministers, priests, clergymen, and preachers of the City of Sacramento, be invited to open the daily sessions of this Assembly with prayer; and that they be requested to so arrange among themselves as to dates, that but one of their number may be present officially, under this invitation, each day.
