STATE OF CONNECTICUT,

JANUARY SESSION, 1883:

At a General Assembly of the State of Connecticut, holden at Hartford, in said State, on the Wednesday after the first Monday of January, being the third day of said month, and continued until the final adjournment thereof, on Thursday, the third day of May next following, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three.

CHAPTER I.

An Act relating to Elections.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in
General Assembly convened:

SECTION 1. No ballot heretofore cast at any election in this Validating state shall be deemed illegal by reason of its having any distin- irregular guishing mark thereon, or because it was not printed on plain Acts 1877, p. white paper.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect from and after its passage.
