ACCIDENTS. November 2d. Edgar Finch, brakeman, knocked off train by bridge near Yantic, and slightly injured. 1883. January 3d. Frank Francis, yardmaster at New London, killed while coupling cars. January 12th. Wm. Bowman, brakeman, while switching at Willimantic, slipped, and foot was crushed by the moving train. February 24th. Man (name unknown) killed by train No. 19, on bridge south of Montville. April 20th. Charles G. Harris, switchman at New London, caught his foot in a frog and broke his leg. June 30th.
