SUMMARY. In the entire State there are (records up to Jan. 30, 1897): Total number of specimens added to the joint collections since the summary on page 255 was compiled, 9,500. Total number of monuments added to the state archæologic map since January 30, 420. More than 20 mounds have been explored by Mr. Loveberry. These will be described in the annual report of next year.
