It is a misdemeanor for an owner or occupant or lessee of a grazing district to refuse to permit a road to run through enclosed districts, or to refuse to erect gates at intersection, etc. (S. L. 1913, 99.)

It is a misdemeanor to leave open, tear down or demolish such gates. (S. L. 1913, 99.)

Hotels.

Failure to comply with the provisions of this article, is a misdemeanor. (6879 R. L. 1910.)

Failure of inspector to account for, and pay over fees to state board of health quarterly, is a misdemeanor. (6880 R. L. 1910.) A false certificate of the inspection of a building is a felony. (6883 R. L. 1910.)

To obstruct or hinder an inspector in the discharge of his duties, or to operate a hotel without having paid inspection fee, is misdemeanor. (S. L. 1915, 544.)

Duty of inspector to make complaint for violation of this article. (S. L. 1915, 545.)

A violation of this article, not otherwise provided for, is a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1915, 545.)

Failure to comply with the provisions of this act is a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1915, 542.)

It is a felony to certify falsely as to an inspection of a hotel, or to operate a hotel when a certificate has not been issued. (S. L. 1915, 544.)

Indians-Sales of Inherited Lands.

Unlawful for any person to record any deed, lease, mortgage or other incumbrance which has been secured within thirty days subsequent to the death of an allottee. (S. L. 1915, 404.) Insane.

Misdemeanor for any person having charge of an insane person to mistreat same. (4570 R. L. 1910.) (S. L. 1917, 333.) Misdemeanor for an officer to fail or refuse to perform his duty, as provided by this article. (4577 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful to confine patient in alms-house. (S. L. 1917, 330.) Officer must see that patients are in a state of bodily cleanliness before delivering them to asylum. Females must be accompanied by female or by relative. Officer must deliver patient to institution in due time. Abuse or abandonment of patient by officer. (S. L. 1917, 330.)

Insurance.

Unlawful to act as agent or representative of insurance company without certificate, or to act after revocation of certificate. (3430 R. L. 1910.)

Names and residences of agents must be filed with commissioners of county and failure so to do is misdemeanor. (3433 R. L. 1910.)

Misdemeanor to receive any rebate, favor or advantage as inducement to take policy. (3461 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful to issue policy without medical examination of insured, except, etc. (3468 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful for agent, physician or other person to make any false statement or affidavit for the purpose of obtaining any fee, commission, money or benefit under this act; or to make false affidavit or certificate of disability or death of insured. (3469 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful to refuse to attend as a witness before, or to obstruct the insurance commissioner in an investigation of companies. (3477 R. L. 1910.)

Misdemeanor to violate any provision of this act, not otherwise provided for. (3478 R. L. 1910.)

FRATERNAL.

Misdemeanor for any person, officer, member or physician to make false or fraudulent statement or representation in an application for membership, or for the purpose of obtaining any benefit or money contrary to the provisions of this article. A false statement of any material matter stated in an affidavit of the death or disability of a certificate holder or member of an association for the purpose of obtaining the benefits of such certificate, is perjury. (3501 R. L. 1910.)

Failure of any association to make the reports, as provided in this article may be enjoined, and a violation of such injunction, or of the provisions of this article while such injunction is pending, is a misdemeanor. (3502 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful for any person to act as officer or agent of, or otherwiise for the association which shall have failed or refused to comply with the provisions of this article, or who shall have failed to procure legal certificate from the commissioner as provided by law. (3503 R. L. 1910.)

MUTUAL.

Unlawful for company, officer, agent or other person to solicit, or effect a contract of insurance without having procured a license, as provided in this section. (S. L. 1911, 215.)

COTTON GINNERS.

Felony for any officer, director or member of company to appropriate any funds or property of such company. (3576 R. L. 1910.)

INDEMNITY CONTRACTS.

Unlawful to violate the provisions of this act as to indemnity contracts. (S. L. 1915, 473.)

Insurance Board.

Any company, officer, agent, director, employee, or other person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1915, 351.)

Irrigation.

The use of works for storage, diversion or carriage of water, after same has been condemned by State engineer, is misdemeanor. Duty of county attorney to proceed against responsible parties. (3652 R. L. 1910.)

It is a misdemeanor to interfere with or injure or destroy any dam, weir, bench-mark or other appliance for the diversion, storage, apportionment, or measurement of water; or to interfere with any person in the discharge of his duties in connection therewith. (3673 R. L. 1910.)

The owner of any ditch, canal or other structure for storing or conveying water, shall construct bridges across same on highways. A violation hereof is a misdemeanor. (3675 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful to place any obstruction on or across any irrigation ditch. (3676 R. L. 1910.)

A violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is a misdemeanor. (3677 R. L. 1910.)

Irrigation Law.

It is a felony for director named in this act to become interested in any contract, or any of the profits to be derived, or to receive any bonus, gratuity or bribe. (S. L. 1915, 515.)

Justice of the Peace.

It is a misdemeanor for a justice of the peace to fail or refuse to make the report required by law. And a wilful neglect to pay over any money, as required by law, is embezzlement. (S. L. 1913, 12.)

Labor.

Unlawful to maintain private agency without licenses. (3722 R. L. 1910.) (Also S. L. 1917, 339.)

Private agency must keep record of persons employed, as prescribed by Labor Commissioner. (3723 R. L. 1910.) A violation of these sections is a misdemeanor. (3725 S. L. 1917, 339.)

It is a felony to send female or children for employment to any house of ill-fame or to any resort conducted for immoral purposes. (3735 R. L. 1910; also S. L. 1917, 342.)

It is a misdemeanor for any licensed agency to divide fees with any superintendent, manager, foreman or other employee. (S. L. 1917, 342.)

Unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, within or without this state to transport any person into this state or from one place to another place within this state to fail to furnish such persons employment within twelve hours, or, if such employment cannot be had, to fail to furnish such persons transportation and meals to place of origin. (S. L. 1917, 342.)

A violation of rules promulgated by the Commissioner of Labor is a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1917, 343.)

It is the duty of the Labor Commissioner to file charges for any violation of the labor laws. (S. L. 1917, 343.)

INSPECTION OF STEAM BOILERS.

It is a misdemeanor for any person owning or operating a steam boiler to violate any of the provisions of this act, or the orders, rules or regulations of the State Factory Inspector. (S. L. 1919, 211.)

Liens.

Any person who furnishes material, labor, money, or supplies

for repair of personal property has a lien thereon. (S. L. 1917, 350.) And any person selling or disposing of personal property covered by such lien, without written consent the lien holder is guilty of misdemeanor. (S. L. 1917, 351.)

When the lien is satisfied, the failure of the lien holder to file release with the county clerk is a misdemeanor. 1917, 352.)

ANIMALS STALLIONS AND JACKS.

A violation of the provisions of this act is a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1915, 79.)

The owner of a stallion or jack has a lien upon the female. (S. L. 1919, 402.) and a sale or disposition of such animal subject to such lien, without notice to the person to whom disposition is made, and without written authority of the lien holder is a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1919, 402.)

Owner of seed when threshed, may sell not more than 20 per cent. A violation of this section is a misdemeanor. 1913, 76.)

When the lien is satisfied, the holder thereof must file notice of discharge thereof with the register of deeds, and if he fails to do so, it is a misdemeanor. (S. L. 1913, 76.)

Marriage.

Marriage between relatives prohibited. (3884 R. L. 1910.) Who may marry. (3885 R. L. 1910.)

Marriage between person of African descent and persons not of African descent, prohibited. (3894 R. L. 1910.) A violation of this section is felony. (3895 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful to solemnize the rights of matrimony between persons prohibited from marrying. (3896 R. L. 1910.)

Mines and Mining.

Unlawful for any person to obstruct the mine inspector in the discharge of his duties, or for an agent, lessee, owner or manager of a mine to fail or refuse to furnish inspector with necessary means of making an inspection, examination or inquiry. (3954 R. L. 1910.)
