The Senate has agreed to the report of the Committees of Conference on matters of difference between the two houses on Am. S. B. No. - Mr. Johnson, and herewith encloses said bill. Attest:

Mr. Schaibly submitted the following report:

The committees of conference, to whom were referred the matters of difference between the two houses on S. B. No. 21 Mr. Johnson, having had the same under consideration, do recommend to their respective houses as follows:

Amend the bill as passed by the House of Representatives in the following particulars:

In line 11a after the word "indemnity" insert "and gross premiums". In line 14a strike out the period and add “to any such association, firm or individual, or a tax of five per centum of the gross premium paid or payable to any such insurance company, underwriter or Lloyd".

In line 25 after the word "corporations" insert a comma and add "residents of this state.".

At the end of line 28 insert the following: "Nor shall any provision of this act be construed as extending to Fraternal Beneficiary Associations, or members thereof."

ers of Harrison county, Ohio, to pay W. E. Crowl the sum of three hundred and nine dollars and twenty cents ($309.20), being the amount due for building a bridge for said county by said Crowl, the payment of which has been delayed through a technicality not arising from the fault of said Crowl.

On motion of Mr. Scott the constitutional rule requiring bills to be fully read on three different days was dispensed with, and said bill (H. B. No. 580) was by order of the House, read the second time by its title. On motion of Mr. Scott the constitutional rule requiring bills to be fully read on three different days was dispensed with and said bill (H. B. No. 580) was, by order of the House, engrossed at the Clerk's desk and read the third time.
