To the Honorable Henry J. Allen, Governor of Kansas:

Conforming to the requirements of the law creating this Society, we take pleasure in submitting for your consideration the horticultural activities of this Society for the years 1918 and 1919. A perusal of the contents will show that Kansas has great possibilities as a horticultural state. With intelligent and efficient care the tree, bush and vine fruits as well as the annual fruits from the garden will add much wealth as well as great comfort to the citizens of our state. We respectfully ask for your consideration and approval of this publication.
