I am much delayed in writing a review of this book. I've been "sleeping on it" for the last two weeks. Totally appropriate, I think. And there's lots and lots to why "sleeping on it" is a good thing ... Ler resenha completa

This was a highly readable, popular science book. It did have medical connotations but was largely around the whole subject of sleep. It was interesting to see how societal changes had eroded the idea ... Ler resenha completa

Sobre o autor (2017)

Matthew Walker's fascination with sleep has taken him from Nottingham to Harvard and on to the University of California, Berkeley, where he is currently Professor of Neuroscience and Psychology and Director of the Sleep and Neuroimaging Laboratory. He has published over 100 scientific research studies during the course of his twenty-year career. Why We Sleep is his first book.
